Elf in green overalls jackhammers a dandelion seed off the puff base

5/19/19

The starting image (see below) this past week for PFCC was a partially distributed dandelion puff from Pixabay. I pondered a while on how to approach this one. What’s the result of dandelion seeds leaving the puff? More flowers, of course. I think the neighbor across the street hates me — I don’t dig up those little rays of sunshine, and they all go to seed.

With that in mind, I decided to explore how the seeds got into the wind. The result was this close-op view of the Dandelion Elf jack-hammering the individual seeds away from the puff base; all when we’re not looking. He’s spreading solid sunshine for the kids and dreamers who love a field of dandelions to pick flowers, make chains, and lie in the midst to see shapes in the clouds.

The extra flying seeds and elf are both from Adobe Stock.
